aidtempe cricket
The nth weekly aidtempe cricket series concluded today - well there was just the one match because some heartless being at the SRC grounds switched off the lights just as it was our turn to come up to bat - probably couldn't bear the modern day Sachin Tendulkar striding out to bat (self-promotion).
Team 1 batting first scored 20, thanks to some batting by Venky - the other team scored 21 effortlessly and won with 1 ball to spare, thanks to swashbuckling knocks by all batsmen on the side (I was on that team, of course).
The second match had barely gotten underway, with Venky surviving thanks to 3 dropped catches in the first over, when as I said, some cruel heartless denizen switched the SRC lights off. Another day, another match.
